Brand photography with Sunshine Yoga
This brand photography shoot was with lovely Gina from Sunshine YOGA.
Gina approached me to do a brand shoot to get a series of images for her website, social media platforms and newsletters. She voiced her interest in bringing the 5 elements - wood, water, fire, metal and air – in with the images. With no further particular ideas in mind, she let me run with this as a brief.
I scouted some beautiful locations to kick start this project off, and checked out the best times for light beforehand. We are so lucky to have a wealth of beautiful spots here in Devon. We settled on Dartington Woods and Venford reservoir in Dartmoor, to work with the elements water and wood first. I shared some inspirational images with Gina, to give her a visual reference point of my ideas, and really from there we worked very intuitively together throughout the shoot.
The story shared within these branding pics is to show that her yoga practise is founded on connection with nature and run by a passionate, warm, inviting Yogi who intends to inspire and invite people from all backgrounds and capabilities.
To be creative in nature, amongst the beautiful Devon surroundings and to work on such a soulful project definitely makes my heart sing.
