Brand photography in nature with mandi St Clair

I had an amazing afternoon with Annemieke who is a true creative and gifted photographer. I feel fortunate to have found such a sensitive talent and can recommend her 100%! I have never liked having my photo taken, but Annemieke really helped me feel relaxed, which is apparent from the excellent results. Her spontaneity was magical! It was defiantly worth having a few hours, as I became used to the camera and looked very natural. Thank you Annemieke! - Mandi St Clair

Some people bring a sense of calm with them — Mandi St Clair is one of those people.

When she reached out to create brand photography for The Beautiful Dance — her 7-day retreat for Highly Sensitive People on the Greek island of Syros — it became clear very quickly that this shoot wasn’t about staged perfection or big branding statements. It was about softness, honesty, and presence.

Mandi’s mission is to help people reconnect with themselves, with nature, with their creativity, and with a more conscious way of living.

Though she felt a little nervous at the start, it didn’t take long for her to relax into the shoot — perhaps climbing a big fence into a magical field helped! We had such a laugh doing it, and that playfulness made the session feel even more relaxed and genuine.

We worked very organically together — chasing pockets of light, focusing on earthy textures, warm tones, natural movement and locations that meant a lot to her, to reflect Mandi’s authentic self.

Brand photography like this isn’t just about pretty pictures — it’s about trust. I’m so grateful Mandi trusted me fully to take these portraits of her in such an open and authentic way. I feel the images reflect her groundedness, sensitivity, and openness — which are all essential qualities in her soulful work.

Working with this lovely lady reminded me why I love what I do: helping passionate, purpose-driven women show up as their full, authentic selves — and creating imagery their audience can truly connect with.
