Brand photography at the Royal William Yard with Summer Bradshaw

I really do appreciate that for many people it takes courage to show up in front of a lens as it can feel intimidating,

This shoot I did for Summer Bradshaw from Your zen life, was a testament to the idea that when embracing an experience as such fully, it can become an empowering experience too. Summer had spent a lot of time building herself up for this shoot, which felt a big step for her. It was so lovely and inspiring to see how she embraced the process wholeheartedly, which ultimately left her feeling empowered..

Before the shoot we discussed suitable locations and it was an opportunity for me to understand Summer better as she herself ultimately represents her brand as a coach.

We chose the Everyone Cinema at Royal William Yard as our location because of its stylish, urban vibes—perfectly complementing Summer's vibrant personality. After a fun and productive shoot there, we ventured next door to Block, a nearby co-working space, for more shots.

When I work with clients, my main goal is to create a space where they can feel safe, comfortable, and free to be themselves. It was so rewarding to hear from Summer that both the final images and the overall experience gave her a real confidence boost and an opportunity for her to put her business in the next gear with images that reflect her personality.

A portrait shoot isn’t about perfection or knowing exactly how to pose. It’s about embracing who you are and expressing yourself in a way that feels authentic and real.
